Today, you will go gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. The trek can take between 2-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend an hour with them before returning to your lodge.
Today, you will go golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. The golden monkeys are an endangered species that can only be found in the Virunga Mountains. The trek is shorter than gorilla trekking and can take between 1-3 hours.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Kivu, Rwanda's largest lake. You will spend the day relaxing by the lake or taking a boat ride to explore the islands. Overnight at a hotel on the lake shore.
