Day 1: Arusha Tanzania
Arusha, located beneath the mighty gaze of Mount Meru, is an ideal base for exploring Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit. It's difficult to think of another location in the world that is so close to so many national parks and game reserves! The Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are only a short flight away, as are Arusha's famous coffee plantations

Day 2: Arusha to Mahale Mountains National Park
Fly from Arusha to Mahale Mountains National Park. Upon arrival, take a boat transfer to your midrange accommodation, Kungwe Beach Lodge, where you'll spend the next 4 nights.

Days 3-5: Mahale Mountains National Park
Spend the next three days exploring the park and getting to know the chimpanzees that call this place home. You can also enjoy forest walks, swimming in Lake Tanganyika, fishing, and visiting local villages.

Day 6: Mahale Mountains National Park to Kigoma
Depart Mahale Mountains National Park by boat to Kigoma. Upon arrival, transfer to your midrange accommodation, Kigoma Hilltop Hotel, for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Kigoma to Gombe Stream National Park
After breakfast, take a boat transfer to Gombe Stream National Park. Upon arrival, take a guided walk to the park's famous chimpanzee trekking area. In the evening, return to your midrange accommodation, Gombe Forest Lodge, for dinner and overnight.

Days 8-9: Gombe Stream National Park
Spend the next two days exploring Gombe Stream National Park. You can trek with the chimpanzees, take a hike to the waterfall, and enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear streams.

Day 10: Gombe Stream National Park to Kigoma
After breakfast, depart Gombe Stream National Park by boat to Kigoma. Upon arrival, transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Departure
Transfer to Kigoma airport for your onward flight to Dar es Salaam or other destinations.
